Afternoon,
My aunty is having troubles with her Tigra Convertible, can't select 1st and reverse has gone as well.
Has anyone a guide on how to re-align the gear linkage on the Corsa C/Tigra?

crawl underneath and loosen the torque bolt, on the top of the gearbox theres either a plastic plug that can be removed or a pin with a spring on it, put the box into neutral and rock the selector from left to right until the pin goes in and locks it in positon, for versions with the plastic plug, remove it and put in a split pin or small drill bit, once its locked go inside the car and pull up the gearstick gaitor and on the top left corner you will see a locator hole that matches to a hole on the gearstick slide it over and locate with a allen key ot split pin then go underneath and tighten up the bolt

Only if you feel it needs it, if there's no major play and nothing's hanging off it then I'd leave it
