We have Sky HD downstairs, but upstairs I just use a regular sky+ box which is fine, and has been fine for around 5 years.

Now all these HD channels
Are being added to the regular menu, they're replacing the regular channel numbers.
Eg BBC3 has just changed from 125 to 220.

Not a big deal, but means pages and pages of sky menu have only about 4 channels on them I can watch, so have to go pae after page looking for the normal version that works on a regular sky box
Really annoying, and makes it hard to find stuff. Anything I can do?

Apart from the obvious

Don't remember anything like this being possible when I had Sky. But why don't you add the channels you can watch as favourites? Then you just hit red/yellow/green/blue whatever it is I can't remember at the main menu and all you'll see is those channels.

You could do what I've done and add the core channels you watch (lets face it, you probably watch less than 10 channels in total normally) to your favourites menu.

In my case, ive added ~10 HD channels that we normally watch.

From there, hit the sky button, left arrow once and your on your favourites list.

Both good ideas, I do watch quite a few channels especially film ones, I enjoy browsing.
I guess I could go through like Bart suggested and just make my own little menu, adding loads of channels

I'd phone up and see if I could get an HD box instead.

1 press of blue takes you back to the channel just been on, repeated presses then scrolls your favourites.

I deleted the end of the closing qoute marks so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt but if you read the last sentence I give you a quicker option which runs along side barts input.
