Right, i would give him sum respect if someone can explain the below?

He said i was SAD for wanting a dump valve on a TD just for the sound of it?

However, he is in the process of figuring out how to fit one to his motor, yet he states it has no benefits whatsoever.... so why is he doing it? simply for the expense, time, hassle .....

think not! Is it unreal to think people can admit their wrong on this board? i realise you guys are trying 2 help, but calling me sad, and then me catching you out like that, doesnt do you any favours in the respect department.

no mate, said u were sad os the on;ly reason u wanted a td was to fit a dump valve. i got mine for plently of other reasons.

ure the one that keeps laying down wrong facts mate

forget a dump valve spend your cash on something a bit more worth while like an intercooler or something

i followed some of ya work kris on the board. I think i can fairly say he knows what he's doing, although he aint being too modest and your just having a stab at him!

If i Fit a 17td fuel pump on the 15 td unit would i get more power ? does the injectors fit or i use the same of the 15td ?

1.7 and 1.5 injectors are the same.
the fuel pump on the 1.7 would help, but u dont need it if u turn the fuelling up and boost up, the 1.5 is more than adaquet (sp)

cheers dave, if u come to the pv2003 show at santa pod in june it will be on the corsasport stand, hopefully finnished, well for this round of mods anyway, lol.

so if I fit the 17td fuel pump and use the 15td injectors it will work fine ???

there is no point fitting the 1.7 fuel pump. look in the tutorials section on this site under diesel tuning, there is a guide on there how to make more power by fiddling with the 1.5 td fuel pump.
