Hi folks - I have a Barina SRi here in Melbourne (same as your Corsa).
My heater fan stopped working on all speeds except 4 (high)
Cannot see a search field on the messageboard to do some research on previous posts
Could someone either help me find the search function or help me find a fix
I did find a post on how to remove the cente console (MDF?) but pics dont display

thats ur resistor pack burnt out i fink from the sounds of it

Thanks mate but why would speed no. 4 still work if it is a burnt out resistor pack?
Can you helpme find a search function for previous posts?

4 speed does not use resistor pack is just full current flow throught the fan so is not effected

Cheers, so if I understand you correctly, the 4th fan speed is just flowing whatever air is going through the system at the time - so if I am at a standstill the fan wont be flowing any or much air? - however it is still blowing full speed at standstill...

no m8 u mixed up when i say full flow i mean full battery power as what they do is restict the power from the battery to the fan by usin resistor pack.3

Cheers matey, understand now! Do you know if this site has a search function so I can see if there is a link to a car service/tech manual to locate the resistor pack. I am sure the dealer would charge heaps in labour,so thinking of replacing myself and just buying part, thanks
