Cheers matey, understand now! Do you know if this site has a search function so I can see if there is a link to a car service/tech manual to locate the resistor pack. I am sure the dealer would charge heaps in labour,so thinking of replacing myself and just buying part, thanks | |

no m8 u mixed up when i say full flow i mean full battery power as what they do is restict the power from the battery to the fan by usin resistor pack.3 | |

Cheers, so if I understand you correctly, the 4th fan speed is just flowing whatever air is going through the system at the time - so if I am at a standstill the fan wont be flowing any or much air? - however it is still blowing full speed at standstill... | |

4 speed does not use resistor pack is just full current flow throught the fan so is not effected | |

Thanks mate but why would speed no. 4 still work if it is a burnt out resistor pack? | |
