the girl friends 1.2 8v corsa is losing power wen u put the foot ryt down but wen its half way its fine ! wats wrong ? i have not looked at the car yet but was wondering if any1 else had problems a4

n reg, done 50 k a duno m8 no looked at it lol canni b bothered but it wis me tht told her 2 get it coz its no fast but she said its just lossing power pml i hate it wen lassies try n expalin hings lol

my coil pack went on mine but mines r reg was working but keept dieing when u tryd to floor it got a new 1 its fine noe mite be out to be fair

does this happen when cold?

i had this with my 1.0 8v Nova. in short its flooding the engine with too much air (runs lean)- the cold engine couldnt get the fuel in at such high demands, but air would happily flow in. Until the car had run for 3/4 mins this was normal for me not to "put the pedal to the metal" during this "warm up" period. as soon as i backed off she would pick up again and i'd be on my way again
