hi there, i own a mk3 astra LET and i have just had the car back out the bodyshop from having new arches etc and the wheel scrape like funk, they are 18's but not sure what offset they are, i was thinking of taking the wheels ito work and taking a skim off the face that mates to the hub to try and solve the problem, has anyone heard of this being done before?? also would i need to skim al the wheels even though it is only the back ones that scrub, or would it not matter that the wheels were all the same offset??
cheers

personaly i would never even consider machine the mating face of a wheel. the stresses that it would put through it would probs weaken it.
Solution. Modify your arches or buy different wheels
