hi
when i go wireless on my laptop
the internet is really slow
loading pages and keeps disconnecting and freezing up
soon as i put the cable back in its ok
im with sky broadband with the max broadband 8meg
and a netgear router.
with the same router with aol and same speed broadband the speed was great and i never got cut off while wireless?
can anyone help me on this please?

the connection shouldnt be the problem if its OK when wired.
Whats your signal like where you are when its slow?

connected up by the cable its on top form 54mbps
as soon as i unplug drops to 24mbsp and upto 54mbps so its all over the place
even though it says conected on the status part
the web pages still dont load
even if im sat at the side of the router and unplug it does the same
i thought it was when i was a distance
