ok so ive got my wireless network sorted out between my laptop and pc, only thing is i cant connect to the internet on my laptop through wireless, the internet connection that i have is broadband with bt, on a router plugged into the uplink port on my network ethernet hub so that it splits the broadband through to my other 3 computers, which is working fine, i can connect my laptop upto this and be online, but what im trying to do is connect to the internet using my wireless connection from laptop to my pc and share internet connection, how is this possible?

go onto wireless network properties and allow 'shared internet'. just a suggestion

this is my setup, can anyone help me share an internet connection over wireless? and still through the wired network? as xp is only letting me do one at a time

i have a pc wired and a laptop wireless
i just followed the instructions that came with the wireless card and router and hey presto

Okay,
What are you using to get onto the wired network from the wireless?
Do you have some sort of Access Point or do you have a computer that has both a wired and wireless network interface?

Also FYI, the router doesnt need to be on an uplink port, if memory serves me correctly they are typically used for stacking multiple hubs/switches together
