...at 12 oclock lastnight, luckily wasnt too far from home, managed to get a mate to pick me up and take me home. Iv got to go down to the car in a bit, i should of driven it home using the clutch lastnight but didnt think of that.

Suddenly the accelerator just went, nothing on it at all its just loose, had a look under the bonnet, and it had snapped, no cable to be seen, looks like its gone through the housing.

Is this a DIY job or take it to the garage jobby?

ahh piss

its a diy job, i have 3 spare here

local motor factor will have one around £20-£30 max

will take half hour to fit max

Ok mate cheers, local place said £17+vat so not too bad but theyl have to order it in so going to try somewhere else.

How hard is it to fit, wouldnt know where to start lol

Unclip it off the pedal, unclip it off the throttle body.
Fit new

Do new ones come with the little ball joint thing? As it snapped off, theres still cable in it which i can get out. Im taking it the new cable will come with a new ball thingy?? lol
