Right...

For the past few weeks my PC has been getting louder and louder. i knew it was the CPU fan which was making the noise so today i went out and got another one.

I fitted the Fan (which came with the thermo stuff on it). What temperature should my CPU be on average?

At the moment its 64 Degrees C...is this too high?

depends on chip. that sounds a bit high for a newish chip, and about right for a slightly older chip.

If its around 2 or more years old, then that sounds ok.
Mine runs at about 26 oC i think, its quite new.
