Not if you admit it DOES make a difference.

It does make a difference, but imo not a noticable difference which is what i've been saying for 10 pages, by the 8th/9th a few agreed with me! I think thats a success.

if your gonna strip a car do it properly, when i see some boy racer driving round in his ROAD car with no back seats (ie stripped back but still sereo speakers etc) i just think hes pritty sad

might be worth a mention, mine was quite rear end happy with no weight in the back! especially under HEAVY breaking

i agree with cupra steve

i have taken the time to read the full post and his argument is

YES it will be quicker as it is lighter

BUT

unless u drive it like its on the track then it really wont be that noticeable in day to day driving..

its like having another passenger and i have never noticed any car fo mines performance being detrimental with another person in the car. its just not noticeabe unless with timing gear imo

as for the weight distribution affecting the handling then yeah i understand that say 6/7 stone off the rear off the car can make it feel unbalanced etc etc

i stripped mine out.......caged it up....relocated the battery in the boot....then filled the rear wheel well with old lead plates.

Less weight isnt always the best thing.....my corsa was far to front heavy for track use........might be quicker up the strip....but wouldnt handle, and the backs locked up straight away.

Weight balance is more important
