Help !! when i put the car into reverse the lights don't come on...any ideas ?? Have a feeling its the sensor in the gear box (apparently been told) but i'm not too sure, wiring problem ??

Secondly is there any stupid bits that people are failing on ??

reverse switch it is i would say cos it happened on mine and i just replaced the switch and they worked fine after

maybe it's just the bulbs

tried buying new ones? only about a pound each

tried already , first thing i thought ! i'll get the switch on order from vaux tomorrow and if it doesn't work i'll be back for more help, cheers guys

Mine did this when I first bought the car and turned out to be just a fuse - I take it you have changed this?

done everything but the silly little switch ! starting to annoy me now cos i drive a lot at night, and people get shirty at me in car parks etc just want it sorted !

pull the plug off the switch and bridge it with a splitpin....
then you'll know if its dodgy or not.

other little bits corsa's usually fail on are headlight clips, handbrake cables or the front chassis outrigger rotton
