Hi there, its not a corsa but i assume they use the same engine.
I got a tigra 1.6 16v engine and for some reason the engine electrics light keeps coming on and the revs rely start to drop and if i dont keep it revved then it stalls the engine and sometimes then doesnt start at all, just turns over.
I had the Service the other day and have had a new EGR valve too which came up on the diagnostics.
Any one got any ideas?

You mean EML? (Engine Managment Light)
It sounds like ICV, although im not sure this would through up the EML. Does it start if you give it a bit of right foot?

yeh it will start if u give it a bit of right foot, but the revs will still drop and if no revs then will stall again.
EML light? also wats ICV?
Sorry im not soo clued up about engines etc, but it was definately the EGR valve that went and i had replaced.

I think its the ICV personally, but do a paper-clip test to make sure.

Check the fuses, was somnething as simple as this on my 1.4 and had the same symtoms

Fuses have been checked, but i will double check again incase something went again.

This came up pretty cheap and was local too. If id known how cheap insurance was ganna be for me to insure the tigra id have bought a corsa gsi. Maybe next time hey! Pretty soon maybe tho.
P.S. The car is working again now, they replaced the EGR valve again as was under warrenty. So ill see how it goes.
