Hi all,
I'm new here and I have a question, hope you don't mind. Do Corsas have a fuel pump safety cut-off that activates during a crash? If so, where is the reset switch for it?
(The one I'm tinkering with is an L reg 1.2 merit).
Thanks.

First time he/she posted was on 04/08/06, with like 4 posts in total, so fairly new?

No they don't. They have a fuel pump relay which you can pull out if you want to turn the fuel pump off for whatever reason/

ok, ok. I've been registered for a while (probably to view the for sale section for my g/f a year ago). Sorry for posting in the wrong forum. /noob.
Oops, it's an M reg if that makes any differnce?
We're not gettig any feed from the wire that should be providing the fuel pump with power. The car had been in an accident when my brother bought it so we assumeed the was a cut -off?
Anyone got a place to check, or a possibe reason for the lack of power in the red/blue wire tht runs in the connector block near the ECU brain?
Cheers.

Change the fuel pump relay which is by the ECU on your car. It's the one with the red and blue wires coming out from the wiring harness.
