Has anybody else had trouble fitting fibreglass combat skirts ??
Bought some last week & had to go down to the body shop to see what they meant as they fitted so badly. It is now doubled the cost of having them done & they have had to basically cut loads off the skirts & the plastic arches!!

what are you all on about? if you cut your sills and weld in a new section then they fit fine! and you dont need to get them painted cos the skirts go over the top! bonus!

yes, generally they bond onto the original sills using adheasive and a screw at each end into the arches, combat ones r quite deep so may need brackets. that guy was spkin crap, just on the board 2 annoy by the looks of his username.

OK thanks but one last question someone was saying that they actually kit the original sills off and put the skits in their place. it this a way of doing it.

u cant cut ur sill off its there as part of the structure, an ur safety as impact bars are behind it!!!!!!!hence would be rediculous to cut it out use angle iron like me bond the skirt to that
