Hi People,

My girlfriend has all of a sudden having problems with her BT wireless connection. Was working fine earlier then all of a sudden

1. router is working and flashing as per normal (origo adsl wireless router)
2. wireless cards are flashing and working as normal (origo)

But when she goes to open up a webpage it comes up it cannot obtain a website

Any help or info to rectify this would be much appreciated

No idea what the hell that means lol

care to explain please matt?

I guess the way of checking the router is fine is by connecting it via a ethernet cable?

Anyway of resetting the router?

Start>Run

Type CMD

Then type

ping <router ip address>

if you get a response they'd i'd imagine its a prob at BT's end

if you haven't got a connection, right clcik on the computer in the task bar and slect "repair"

this will repair the wireless connection

Alot of people have been having trouble with BT recently, something to do with BT's main routers going down. Not sure if thats related though.
