Author scraping more power from my c16 head??

on the c16 there is a port on the right hand side of the head...(an allowance for egr)

you can feel it if you put your finger in the 4th exhaust port..
apparently this will give me some stupid ammount of power increase from filling it.....1-2 bhp lol

has anyone done this??.. if so what do you use?...chemical metal ????

indeed....im scared of using chemical metal :S........i can just imagine it breaking off and cloggin up sumwhere lol

the chemical metal i used on the 14xe which went in aden's nova was this stuff made by a company called belzona molecula (spelling is wrong i think lol) had a few hundred miles on it and is all fine, but now out due to c16xe... was definatly quicker in the nova than my corsa but the nova is lighter...

nothing to do with the head, but

wanted - [fse - boost valve]

dont get one, they're shit, i've justed failed an MOT on emissions due to one not holding constant fuel pressure

how can ppl say that blocking this hole and smoothing it into match the ports wont do anything? ive definatly heard otherwise... its a fapping great hole in number 4 exhaust port.. take a look

unless you are planning a 200+ bhp engine then mods like this are pointless. I have managed ok at getting 180 bhp, I kept the EGR port in the head. If you want to block it up then do it but it would have to be alloy welded to be done properly, then smoothed and polished.

the biggest restiction you have there isnt the egr port its the sai port. get those removed and the manifold done to match and that will be worthwhile. this is what i mean:
