Hi, i have just had my Amplifier and subwoofer installed.
It sounds great inside the car and really does rock your head about.
But when ever i stand out side the car with the sub playing, i cant hear any bass.
Like whenever a car with a sub drives past you can hear them from half way down the road.
Even my mates sub can be heard from the next street and that is running on a 100 Watt rms amp.
My amp is 300 wats RMS, and like i said it sounds great inside the car, But when you step out side the car and shut the door you can hardly even hear any bass.
Just wondering what amps you are using and if your subwoofer and be heard from a distance.

i have a sony amp and sub and can pnly just hear it from outside when its so loud inside that it hurts lol - all i can normally hear from outside the car is my spoiler rattling cos of the vibration.
also i think that corsas have a fair bit of sound-deadening
If it sounds great from inside they dont worry about it - just means you wont annoy the neighbours at night

mines the same mate, deafening bass inside, but once your outside you just hear vibrations and rattles, no bass! if i wind down the window a bit u can hear it hear it a mile away though lol, just think the car has good sound proof in general!

Why do you want everyone in the neighbourhood to hear your 'choons' with you.

My old install you could hear from France 
was a heavy setup done really nicely. hit a 143.3dB on an SPL test..
was a rear seats out jobbie..

hope to do something similar myself when I can take the back seats out (might be a while )
