i put this post last week asking if it had gone and what the signs were

loads of people replied and im very greatfull,took it out last night and left it to go cold overnight as normal...woke up this morning to check oil level and water etc etc
took some pics to show
not the answer i was looking for!!!!
i have got the gasket set so it should be done this weekend when i have free time with my dad

You'll need to get the head skimmed though! Get that doen or it will go again straight away!

easy enough to do on the 8v
just make sure you flush the oil & coolant system through though thoroughly to get rid of any shite that may still be in there
