As above.. i have a nova sri engine knocking about so i was thinking can i spruse up my 1.2 8v with some sri engine mods? As far as im aware it should bolt on just will it give it any more power?
If there is no point putting the 1.4 head on what cams can i get for this 1.2 8v ?
Or should i use the 1.4 head with an uprated cam.. what about the injection and TB and stuff can any of that be used and would it make any difference?

is the sri engine mpi or carb?u nead 2 check that the head is the same size and check that the timing is exactly the same if it is then it shud go on.

why spend time/money on a 44bhp 1.2 8v when you have a 1.4 sat there?
i'd just save the money and get a bigger engine/bigger car if i were you.
like i've just sold a P reg 1.4 corsa sport 75k on clock for £975 and bought a 1.6 corsa sport, S reg with 48k on clock for £1400
so basically for £425 i've got a 1.6 engine, less mileage, better condition all round, ABS and PAS as well now and it does 2-3 more mpg lmao!
