no, ur engine is unfortunatly not worth tuning! just keep saving for a 1.6 16v or a 2.0ltr 16v

yeah i read the review and thought it a little optimistic for a 1.2 8v engine, any one else agree that 75bhp is high for the engine and the mods done

tbh, i wouldn't know!

after seeing that 200bhp 1.3 micra (actually SEEN it when RC Developments were just up the road from me in barnton), they had it on the rollers & i can vouch that it is what it says...

maybe it is possible to get 75bhp from the 1.2 8v with those mods! only way to know is if someone is brave (or daft) enough to put money & time into doing this & then getting it on the rollers for us all to see!

but a cam really aint gunna give it alot of power i stupidly put a fast road/rally piper cam in a 1.4 8v spi engine, gained me 6bhp with a 4 branch manifold and a full system and a de-cat! so a 1.2 8v with a cam and those mods (different head) cant see it gaining over 25bhp!!!

no only mods listed were "nova 1.3sr head rally cam nova manifold and de cat pipe then change gear box ratios" even if it was a 1.3 i boubt it would be that powerful! what do u mean not that far off a 1.3? unless it had mpi(which it didnt from the pics in the mag) i seriously doubt the power

everyone keeps sayin put a bigger engine in, put u dont know my circumstances. i cant afford the insurance on a bigger engine and it is also the cost of fittin as well and findin a decent one when my engine is running so well. i woud rather mod mine.

im a student too with no job, and i dont see the point in wasting what little money id have on a 1.2 8v, save up more and go down the 1.4 1.6 route! better in the long run! seriously, ud only regret wasting money on the 1.2
