Anyone elses near side shaft go into the gear box at an angle from the hub rising up into the gearbox???

Also got a knocking noise, and a feeling through all pedals. Diagnosed it as my steering rack, but could the suspension the car is on have an affect with the extra weight from the engine, as ive still got my old gmax -60mm kit on, as i still havn't got my coilovers from rimstyle yet!

mine drove fine with g-max kit on til o got coilovers so would not have thought was that.

unsure what knocking could be, what type of noise is it

the knocking is deff the steering rack, as we had it over the pit and checked it!

mine was doing it... 2 broken baljoint bolts

the ball joints on the lower arm? How much are these and how easy too fit? Can try replacing them first!

i paid a quid from a bolt store m12 x40 mm

ok so where abouts are the bolts on the ball joints? Are they easy too get off?

got some bolts, got the set screw was going too get head screw as well but they didn't have any in that size, do you know what sort it was you changed?

You mean these two bolts here mate? There fine no knocking from them!

Rules that out i guess, my mechanic was sure it was the rack!
