I have some 6x9s on an amp and when i drive i can hear the engine whistling through the speakers, the wiring is as everyone suggests so can anyone advise how to get rid of the interferance?

You have a shit earth mate...
Might be interferance from Alternator.
Check to see if its got a suppressor on.

Well the noise has the whistling noise u would hear when its cold, but it doesnt happen all the time, only just recently, so im guessing it could be a lose connection somewhere, plus the cable going into the amp is 4gauge and the holes for the cables are less than that so they are a bit bodged i guess.
any further ideas lol
