Hi, what converter/inverter do i need to run my ps2 in the car?

do they come with a cigarette lighter that i just cut to run to the battery?

u need a inverter to convert the 12v off your battery to 230v for your ps2. the ps2 then plugs into the invertor

Yes some are shoot. Some are OK. Orig you can get a 12v power mod for the pcb.

just take the power borad out of the ps2 and wire it strate to the battery via a fuse. works fine have done this in my car

right what i am going to do is...

buy the adaptor connor has mentioned and modify my double din space for a second HU.

All i want is a motorised screen that i can connect to my ps2. which in turn connects into my HU.

So what i want is..

KCA 121B alpine inet adaptor so i can run the ps2 sound into my sound system
ps2 power Invertor
Motorised single din screen.

can anyone help me out here?

I have a similar setup in my car but with an xbox.

I took top vents out and put screen there as the screen is too low otherwise.

Screen is connected to the xbox, and the sound goes via the HU to the AUX - IN.

If you get a cable that has phono connectors rather than scart it is peice of piss .

Just get a decent invertor, crap ones give lots of headache n piss you off

is it DEFO the invertor that gives interferance.........?

cause mine gives interferance even when its not on i think. rated up to 150watts.

would one rated at 300watts be better
