for a f18 gearbox (assume theyre the same as f20 cv's?)

Big block ones... Off of any vauxhall that had a 2.0 engine in it... Apart from Cavaliers and Calibras because they had equal length driveshaft kits fitted to them so the o/s inner CV is useless.

So if you had a gearbox from the equal length cav a inner cv joint from a 2.0 astra will go straight in the drivers side?
As there is a metal plate part on that side of the gearbox with 5 bolts holding it on, would that need too come off first?
