was told i could use 16v astra gte shaft and mate them to cossvaux hubs anyone else done this?

yes loads do it but it strains the bearings as one is a little to long.

they are fine to use though

i used astra shafts for a while, then changed to cossvaux ones after about 4months.

The driveshafts don't mate to the hubs You got the CV to do that.... I'm going to use Cossvaux ones, but you can get away with Astra ones for a while, some people are lucky and they work fine, others have found that the astra shafts damage the wheel bearings becuase they are slightly too long.

ive got cossvaux hubs and im finding i cant get the short shaft on it sits about 1" out and theres no moving it so gonna call cossvaux and get a set of shafts off them and 4 new cv joints as ive replaced everything else up front might as wee do these too

how much are they from cossvaux? as there £145 with hubs from m-tech!

Dunno the price for the shafts, I bought the whole kit for £200...
