- all cables connected

Earth I would think as if it was the remote it wouldnt turn on at all

Its either the earth or the speaker is shagged

so im guessing it is in protect mode???

if so check all connections first b4 you doun anything else......dont just check there connected get a multimeter out and do it properly...

You should also in my opinion take the amp out and let it sit for a few hours with out power on so the capaictors can dis charge.......then put it back in and try again..

Check your battery voltage, so amps dont like it to drop to low.......
