my car makes a crunching noise only when i reverse with full lock on left, on further investigation i found that the steering turns one way further than the other way.
on doing this the triangular arm behind the front wheel goes into the rim and rubs on it, why is this happening

tracking has been done to the steering wheel not to the rack centre. Need to set the tracking to the steering rack centre then reposition the steering wheel!
Assuming nothing is bent
