Just done a check on the car to see why the Engine management light is on,

heres the codes

31 Engine RPM signal (crankshaft sensor) No signal
57 Idle Speed Control Valve (ISCV) Interruption
65 Carbon Monoxide (CO) potentiometer Low voltage
66 Carbon Monoxide (CO) potentiometer High voltage
73 Air Flow Sensor (AFS) Low voltage

ignore the AFM as i ran the engine with it off for a while to see if it was contributing to the rough idling problem i have been having

i have a changed the ISCV today to my dads one and the revs dropped but still it idled up and down.

im gonna try changing the crank shaft sensor as it is a bit chewed up at one end.

what are the others

Apreciate any help
cheers
Mist

i would try testing your idle valve first M15T and if when u pass twelve volts through it it worsk then its not your idle valve.

i have had an idle problem/misfire problem which was solved with a working air flow meter !!
