Need help......

Where the rear seat back is held in place (off the rear strut top) why are there 2 different fixings brackets?

Just bought an SRi interior and it has this fixing:

Whereas mine has a long curved bar with 4 holes in it:


Is there anyway to make my fixing work with this one or replace for one like the above?

Will/Are they mounted to the strut top in the same way and if i went to the scrappy and got them which corsas had which fixings?

pre 97 is the pic above, post 97 its the bar type. Theres a plate welded between the arch and the wing on the post 97 one that the bar bolts to, cant really swap them over.

hmm, dunno then. That was my theory after fitting a roll cage in both pre and post 97 cars.
