All was fine, driving along, then my bass suddenly disappeared. Its done this a few times cos the amp overheats (not a problem cos its going to be in an install with fans soonish), so left it overnight. Turned the stero back on in the morning, and there was fuck all bass. The light was on on the amp, the cone was moving a tiny bit, but no bass. Ive been to halfords and tested the same amp with a different sub, which did the same thing. Went home and tried my sub with my old amp, same thing. Could it be something to do with the battery/altenator? Its a 1000w rms 2ch pioneer amp. Cheers if anyone can help, Matt!!

Check the RCA's havent been damaged in your car, and check your ground again.

swapped the RCAs over as i had 2 sets running from the head unit (one for the rear speakers). Ill check the ground again and get back to you. Ive had so many problems with my ice, cant wait to get my install done and just leave it be!

Checked the ground, seems okay. Just noticed the power light is on on the amp, even when the keys are not in the ignition, is it supposed to do that?

it should only be on when the headunit is, doesnt matter if keys are in or not.

try relocating your ground. 2 corsas ive had were using the rear seat bracket and the ground for the rear clusters. Relocated it to the side of the wheel well and all was good.
