i know this is an old question, but the search isn't coming up with the goods...

i've got a 1.2 8v... been having a little trouble with damp but i seem to have sorted that. last night i didn't see a speedbump in the road and hit it at about 15 - 20 mph... ouch... since then... i've got the engine management light on when the engine's running...

it's a little sluggish, but seems to be firing on everything fine...

any ideas or information on how i can do a readout from the ecu by getting the light to flash etc?

cheers!

right, i've got code 14 (Coolant Temperature Sensor - Low Voltage)

i haven't got my haynes manual with me as i'm at my folks... the coolant temperature sensor is the diddy thing in the manifold behind the bulk, right?

i checked the connection, i cleaned it and made it tighter, but i'm still getting the same readout...

anybody know what i'm doing or where i'm going wrong?

cheers!

um... had a look... and on the inlet manifold on the right side behind the bulk there is something connected... but it doesn't look like the description i've been given on here... it doesn't seem to have a connector... just a thick line coming from it... i'm confused...
