My speedo cable has snapped so need it sorting today or tomorrow, I have had the 2.0l 16v fitted basically all Ineed to know is do I need the speedo cable for the gsi or the 2.0l or are they exactly the same many thanks Paul...

ps do u know how much they cost ? my mate thinks roughly £30

£30 is for an original one... i had touble gettin one and went breakers and got 2 for under £5! off a brand new corsa aswell...

u need a GSI one
AND
u will need to get a new one as 99% or scrappers just cut them

Mine was about £20-25 from Vauxhall.
