So when ya select start windows normally, it comes up with win xp loading screen, then resets??

boot-looping...

the boot.ini file is feked... only way to sort it is to boot from an XP cdrom, select recovery console & then do chkdsk to fix the drive (chkdsk /? will give you options to use)

Other than that... if you have no CD, you will need to do a recovery, which will remove EVERYTHING you had on there!

even if you take it back to the shop, they will just do a recovery either way & you will still lose everything if they do that
