Thinking of putting Astra GTE brakes on my corsa - will they fit with my standard steelies??? they are 14x5.5!

on v-tunning it say 14's would be fine but ive heard som on here saying they wont fit

My mate has them on his nova...would trying my wheels on his car work to see if they'd fit?

my mate did a valver conversion on his corsa, and was running 2.0l brakes (256mm) under 14" steelies, no problems...

seelies have thinner outer rims than alloys tho dont they, and as such wud have more clearance on caliper

use 15" wheels, 14" limits the cooling

we are talking road cars here though ^^ at most tuned road cars, 14" steels will fit fine as I ran them for a short period inbetween selling my 17s adn buying my 16s. As for cooling I'll give you a pat on the back if you notice the difference between 15" steels and 14" steels
