MCS ROCKFORD 12" BASS PACKAGE
Is ur best bet but dont expect a well bass install.

I am going to be spending well over 2k and thats ok good but still a lot of installs will kill it.
It all depends on what u want and what music u listin tooo

im not thinking of doing a major instal just want some bass, sounds nice at the moment. was just thinking of tidying up the boot so i dont have bloody amps bolted to the back of the seats.

listen to trance and R&B mostly. want something that i will be able to feel the bass in the front if u no what i mean, my mate has the one up from that one, better sub&amp and we put that in my car as a test a while back and it was more than enough.

so u think this would be good then mate?

thanks for the help.

sounds like you might be better off going for summing like one of the vibe active enclosures.

you can feel the bass in the front as you describe, won't have amps bolted to the seats as it's built into the enclosure, and will be about the right price.

plus vibe are a well respected and under-rated company

I've got two Sony 12" pentagon subs and the black pentagon mono amp and for the price i paid it puts out alot of bass!! The kind where the rear wiper bounces off the window and u can feel the the bass going through your body each time it kicks. Even with just the one sub it was enough. Obviously this is from someone who ain't really bothered about all the technical sh*t. resonance frequencies, spl, etc. and wanted something to suit my needs and budget, Sony did that job and i also haven't had any problems with any of my equipment so quality of build hasn't been a problem either.

I wud reccomend alpine as well, at the mo i only have a single 10" Type S, which was cheap but is still i find very bassy for its size and power output!
Gonna change it for a JL 12" W3V2 now tho!!!

i say theyre crap, yet i can afford them, to be honest for what i paind for my sub i coulda had 3 or 4 sonys
no i dont have a clue what im talking about, yet i manage to fit and sell audio kit

turning the tables now - most people who say theyre good either havnt heard better, or dont know what theyre talking about
