in the airbox there is that sensor thing that shuts either the hot or cold air feed off, what i have done is take the lever off the hinged seal door, and i want to seal the ot air feed pipe up by bonding/glueing the seal door to the hot air side and routing the hot air pipe down and to the right, away from the airbox

will this be an ok fix around the hot air feed and pipe?

Thanks
