Am trying to work out why my ecu warning light keeps coming on.

Sum1 suggested that it might be sucking too much air and the sensor sees this as an error! Its a 1.4 16V with BFO filter, mantzel, decat, full system.

Could this b a problem? ne had this b4?

Thanks

No such thing as sucking too much air.

Read the fault codes, its probably something very simple.

its sumthing to do with fuel i think....

The car sumtimes cuts out and the fuel relay in the passenger footwell can be heard clicking.

Am still workin on how to read the codes out, havnt got a diagnostic connector for the ecu / loom.

Cheers

do a search on checking ur own ECU with a paper clip, get the fault code, get it fixed or a new part, fit it or get it fitted, done

Just means there is a fault with the sensor or the wiring, the ecu remembers a fault no matter how long it was present for, best thing is to reset the ecu and see if its still there. The map sensor is a major sensor for these engines. If the sensor wasn't working then the engine would hardly run.....

With the engine idling disconnect the vacuum pipe and you'll see what I mean.
