The air temp is low so the brake is high - I've got a cossie cone and group A Scorpion system and got 15.5bhp (don't forget the 0.5).

oh, and since driving Adams beast, I want a 16v.

my results were:-

Engine - 105.5bhp
Norm Power - 102.0bhp
Wheels - 72.0bhp
Drag - 33.5bhp
Torque - 95 lbf-ft

Max Power at 90mph or 5580rpm
Max Torque at 82mph or 5120rpm

Not bad for a 1.4 16v. Its going on the rollers again after the de-cat goes on.

perfectly normal if you look at rhino's results.

remember that it was 6-8 degrees when the 1.4's went on that means it's very cold. the wheels figures are very similer so I tend to believe the results. do the same on a hot day and the results would be lower

All boost readings are according to gauge

Peirburgh + cone filter + magnex

bleed 17psi + decat + magnex + OE airbox with extra feed

seb1 18psi + BMC + decat + magnex

seb1 17psi + BMC + decat + magnex

seb1 17psi no filter + decat + magnex

excel graph comparing all figures at the wheels

i'll agree there, it was really chilly like.

I got a cool..........

Norm power 105.5 bhp
Engine Output 108.5 bhp
Wheel Output 75 bhp
Drag Output 33.5 bhp

Max Power at 98 mph @ 5910 rpm
Max Torque 105 lbf - ft at 68 mph @ 4090 rpm

Was cuffed with that for being standard, thats me got a base figure now.

If the rollers have been callibrated right, air temperature and pressure shouldn't come into it at all. All rolling roads should correct the figure to 20 degrees C and 1000mbs of air pressure. Yes, you will get more actual power on the day at the wheels, but the readouts should all be adjusted accordingly. If that didn't happen, it would be impossible to test a car for power gains/losses unless the weather conditions are identical, which is clearly daft!
