Got a home network.

4 Port Router
1 PC (Mine on the 2nd Floor)
2 PC's on the 1st floor + router.

The router is 20m or so from my room.Got a cable at the moment but i want 2 net connections.

Do i
a) buy another huge cable and use the last port?
b) can i buy one from wall plugs, and then plug both connections into that. But would i need 2 lines or wire going to that or could i share one somehow?

If you dont understand ill do a diagram

cant you explain what you want to do, I dont seem to understand, are you asking if you can run two computers down one cable cause you want two computers in your room or something?

each computer will need its own cable (cat5?) into the router

Basically PS2 goes online.

So i want next access on both pc + PS2.

Like you get sockets for Power plugs in the wall. Uni and other business have them Ethernet plugs in the wall.

behind the wall, would i need 2 cables feeding the plug or can i use one cable to feed both ports?
