You could go for either the Sony which had a 10mb hard drive.
or i think pioneer also do one which has the same space.

Or do you mean just MP3 headunits???

he meant 10GB i think...

Holds pretty much any song you could wish for..

I got the Sony CDX-MP70... plays mp3 cd's

11 albums or so on one CD

With 10 gig hard drive you get er... about .. 15 * 11 ... so er... 170 odd Albums on the Hard Drive of it

BUT cost a lotta money don't it...

I'm impressed with mine to, it's the one with the CD Tray that comes out, it looks great... BUT

Everyone on here will tell you to Get alpine, the builtin amp is bigger, and sound quality is better apparently... not sure they do a hard drive unit though.

and IMO they look pants when compared to Sony HU's so it depends what you're after really, Sony's looks better, Alpine apprently sound better

Heres the lowdown on the KEG:

Kenwood KHD-C710

The Kenwood Music Keg makes it simpler than you ever imagined to put up to 5,000 of your songs in your vehicle - in 3 simple steps, in fact:
1. Rip it: Connect the Kenwood Music Keg DMS cartridge to your PC using the included USB docking cradle. Use the super-intuitive Kenwood PhatNoise Music Manager software to collect and organize your music in MP3, WMA, WAV or FLAC formats and transfer it to the cartridge.

2. Take it: The transportable DMS cartridge is small enough to fit in a shirt pocket, yet holds about 2,500 songs (10GB cartridge included) or a massive 5000 songs (optional 20GB cartridge) at standard MP3 compression. Just pop it out of the cradle and bring it with you.

3. Play it: Insert the DMS cartridge into the Kenwood Music Keg unit. Now you have enough music to take you anywhere you want to go (and back again)!

With the Kenwood Music Keg you’ll never have to sift through a bunch of songs to find the ones you want. The Music Manager’s Playlist capability lets you organize your music any way you want, so you’ll always have just the right tunes to fit your mood, right at your fingertips. Group songs any way you want - make your own dance mixes, a couple of classical compilations - it’s all up to you. And Music Manager’s Dynamic Playlist capability will automatically update your lists for you by artist, genre or a keyword. With Kenwood Music Keg’s 999 Playlist capability you’ll never run out of options.

The Kenwood Music Keg works with most Kenwood in-dash receivers and operates just like a CD changer.

Or then you have the crazy:

Dension DMP3-80 Universal

The Dension DMP3 in car MP3 hard drive links to your car radio via the radio's aux-in connection (most aftermarket head units offer an aux-in adaptor as an option) or by using the FM modulator included in the package.
Connect to your PC either as an internal IDE hard disk with the internal frame included in the package or as an external USB device using the optional USB adaptor. Once connected you can simply drag and drop MP3 files and playlists to the DMP3.

The unit has a massive preinstalled 80GB IDE drive, enough for approx 1000 CD's worth of music!! What's really neat is that when the unit's not in the car, you can plug it into the mains and connect to your hi-fi.

Musicmatch CD to MP3 conversion software's included, as is the DMP3 Manager application that allows you to reconfigure the unit with your own random settings (you can choose both the files and the random playback probability), display formats and startup/shutdown screens.

In all, the standard package includes: The DMP3, CarHost frame, Internal IDE PC frame (USB Upgrade Optional), Satellite display, FM modulator, Software & docs

Price (Inc. VAT & Carriage): £399.99

Convert youre CD tracks to MP3, you can fit about 8-10 albums on one disc in mp3 format and still have reasonable quality.
