I have a full FK suspension kit, fitted the rears, gonna hav a go at fitting the front 2moro.
In the max p book it says u HAVE to replace the bolts that hold the shock to the bottom arm thing, would it matter if i just used the original bolt??

I also have new vented disks and ate calipers, and in the book it also says u have to replace the bolts that hold the hub carrier, will it b ok with the original ones? (which are supposedly threadlocked? i have a tube of threadlock i could put back on them)

cheers guys

i used same bolts and just tightened them up real hard - never use an air line on the bolts though :O just breakers bar/ratchet

mine was done in a garage as well

does anyone have the required torque setting anyway?? dont think its that high...

its more important to m ake sure the top bolts at strut are renewed and as tight as possible.

the one that sits inside the metal cup thats visible under the bonnet (on the top of the suspension turrets?)
If yes, ive got a new 1.

If its the 2 small bolts, then i dont have any.

Watch the bolts on the rear suspension because the one's that hold the damper to the trailing arm tend to strip the treads very easily- i overtightened mine and thats whats happened, just have to add a nut on the back backside of the sripped nut which i tac welded to the trailing arm but what a pain!!
