I've been quoted £460 to supply and fit a 12" JL W3 powered by a 2 channel BBG audio (made by PG) amp that chucks out 250 watts RMS, this will be connected using phoenix gold wiring and the price includes all fitting.

is this a good price? i feel it is.

cheers, james

well i dunno coz they are charging £60 for fitting £60 for wiring kit and they are doing me a deal at £340 for the sub and amp so if i did it myself i would only save £60 on fitting and maybe a bit on the wiring kit if i got a cheaper one.

I would personally do it myself, cuz you can mail order the sub for £149 dont know about the amp probably another £150 or summit, then £50 to make custome install and £30-50 wiring!!!!

Save yourself £60 and get to do it yourself and say you did it yourself!!!!

But its up to you, if your confident enough to do it yourself then do it but if your unsure then get it do proffesionally then you have come back!!!!

If you do it yourself it's good to know that what you have in ur car has been done by you, and not some smarmy git you paid £100 to do it from Halfords.. Bloody tossers, i hate people who think they're better than you cause they can afford stuff done "professionally"

I would go for it mate. I spent $$$$ on my system to have it done "professionally" and its the best $$$$ i have spent. So i say go with the pro's Also this way, if anything blows in later life you can go back to them and they will replace it with discount (they did for me)

Thats what im pretty sure on was just wondering what the experts thought!!!!

I dont think £360 is to bad a price either!!!! I will be running them off of a Pheonix Gold QX 300.4, so they will be getting about 150watts a piece, that sound ok???
