You haven't got to use what they sell as feature wall paint, just go to a Crown Decorator Centre find a colour you like in their massive swatch of colours.

2.5 litres in Vinyl Matt, they are doing good deals at the moment and don't for one second dare to use Dulux.

You don't want the emulsion like glue, always add a bit of water to the first coat to keep a wet edge and keep the evenness when rolling.

Would those lights not be a bit distracting or annoying when watching TV though?

Very nice, though it does piss me off when people don't fully tile bathrooms.

You'll be getting them back in to repaint it in a couple of years.

It might be nice to have some climbing plants up along the garden wall. Clematis, Honeysuckle, or even some ivy.

EDIT: Or a Virginia Creepr may be nice.

Most of the stuff is still in the shed haha

Most of today will consist of chiselling out the downstairs brand new wall to fit sockets and run wires for bluetooth speaker system etc

Fitted the aerial in the loft at 2300 hours last night.

Then realised I will need some sort of masthead amp as there is 4 seperate coaxs up there. Probs a normal splitter will weaken signal too much?

You just need something like this:

http://www.screwfix.com/p/labgear-lda204l-s-4-way-vhf-uhf-aerial-amplifier-2-inputs-4-outputs/64770

I've got a 6 way splitter at work and there is 0 problem with any signal on it. I'm a good few miles from Cyrstal Palace as well.

Fiver says you've not got a plug in the loft I beat that by cutting into the lighting circuit and putting a round pin socket up there, rewire the plug on the splitter to a round pin one!

I've used a 4 way co ax splitter in my loft with no signal strength issues.

Are you serious about chiselling the walls?
