Didn't like the long bulbs so swapped them for shorter ones. More stealth looking.

Not read through everything but feel like adding that in a new build house, 3M command strips/hooks will transform your life for pictures/mirrors/door coat hooks

Everything is up in my house with them. Can't fault them.

Will have a look at them see what they are. Haven't really hung anything apart from 1 mirror, then just glued the bathroom one on. Unsure what sort of art work stuff to go for and where.

Those energy saving bulbs look wank in that lamp shade. you need some LED filament bulbs, low energy, look cool as fuck

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

I think that's the way to go as it will provide more light. I tried an old style bulb in it also last night and it caused mad looking projections on the ceiling from the cracked effect.

Latest piece of excitement is a dressing table in the bedroom. Has taken 4 weeks to build as it was missing a piece, then they sent the wrong piece, then it was missing a hole in a piece which instead of going mental at them I decided to drill myself which worked nicely hence its completion. Cool.

Thanks yep it's a nice area to live. Not to far away from useful stuff. Looking forward to lighter nights for running and biking after work.

In the first pic, pow? It has an X6 parked next to it, so I reckon it is Nic's van.

Nic, you and your other half have some right fucking quirky taste in style! No that it's a bad thing though. My missus has the white dressing table.

That's my van, there isn't a rusty van there though so it's all good.
