It's the reason I took my filter off and put the standard airbox back on. Car runs a lot better now, haven't had the problem since.

Gave it an oil and filter change today as it's been 5k since the last one! Time flies

Also my plates turned up. Mega excited to get them on but still waiting for the new logbook to come before I can fit them and I'm going to Order pressed ones I don't think I'm going to fit the plastic ones. But here's the plate.

Since the day I got it the boot spoiler had dodgy paint on it with cracks in it like it's had some sort of reaction. Previous owner told me he painted it as the spoiler had faded a bit God knows why he did it coz it was a different shade and almost Matt that he had painted it.

Mate of mine has been promising me for 2 months now he will paint it for me along with my front splitter but I got fed up being let down and set upon it myself on Sunday to see what was underneath the crappy paint.

Pleasant surprise revealed he hadn't even prepped it, sprayed straight over gloss. So a few hours later loads of thinners and a t cut and resin polish it's good as new!

Ruthless wasn't it!! Used to really really bug me it looked so shit but I was allways scared to get the thinners on it in case he had rubbed it all down and primerd it etc then it would of looked ten times worse. I got lucky it's like new now!! Quite happy.

The guy I got it off was one of them old boys why thinks doing stuff like that is a good repair lol.

Iv been after one for a while but didn't know weather or not I was going to sell it or not lol. Couldn't decide weather to go for one personal to the car or to me or what. TRW are my initials and I went for Y6 as it's as close to V6 I'm going to get lol.

Was £484 I think plus £20 for plates and £26 insurance change over fee which I don't think was too bad.

Can't beat a 5digit plate! You need a shorter number plate on that now IMO.

Ps. Surprised you didn't just paint the spoiler black.....

Work wasn't too busy today for once so I took off my badge and painted it black also thought it would look better if I wrapped the black plastic background piece red as the plastic fades and looks grey so I got an off cut from the lads over the way who do the wraps.

I'm quite happy with how it's turned out. Badge isn't on yet it's only touch dry but I offered it up for a look at how it looks.

Getting some paintwork done later this week. Going to strip it tommorow if I get time. While the bits are away I'm going to wrap some more bits.
