Need a wider front plate, looks silly to have a shortened one when there's a recess for a normal sized one

Audi is fixed. All sorted. Spent about Ł2k in it now so have to keep it at least until next year.

Will be interesting to see how much cars I'm interested in at the moment go up or down in value, i will be watching with interest at the interesting interests of mine.

Some thing...

The only exception are 'xenon filled incandescent bulbs' which are marketing bullshit.

Wouldn't of thought it'd affect it? I got mine from HID Direct.

That will be getting smoothed in and the bumper repainted soon and number plate will be put somewhere else.

They're the same thing in that they work the same way, but hid's are generally described when bought as an aftermarket product. Vehicle manufacturers use the term 'xenon' so as to show they are standard fit.

Please dont it will look garbage. And you'll have dropped the resale value on it!

I'm not selling it on, missus will be having it off me. It's 2010 and on 80K so it's dropped already going from that no doubt.

No they don't, they call them Xenons because that is the type of bulb in use. Using Xenon gas. They don't call them that to differentiate between factory fit Xenons or aftermarket HIDs (which are also Xenon).

Suzuki for an example refer to their Xenons as HIDs on the Swift Sport within their sales literature.

I'm not stupid. I work for a vehicle manufacturer xenon gas bulbs are the same whether they're marketed as hid or xenon bulbs.

If you ask Joe public what a hid is, they wouldn't know. They'll know what a xenon is though.
