I got the cheap stuff off ebay, looks fine so far but I've only painted half. Goes on easy with a brush.

Biggest tip I've got is do it before anything is in the garage. I'm moving stuff about and it's a massive PITA.

I went to a Dulux Decorator Centre - they do an own brand which isn't Dulux (??) and it was recommended to me by the guy who said it's what they use in their shops. My garage has been done for a good few years and it still looking good

If the walls are any sort of brick at the moment, white paint makes a massive difference.

Also got the floor paint off ebay. There's a seller that does any colour. Wasn't happy with the limited grey or red at my local B&Q plus ebay was half the price. Did my floor a lovely blue with white walls.

I bought Leyland garage floor paint from screwfix. Really good stuff.

For walls just use emulsion.

I've not long done mine, let me try and get some pictures uploaded for you.

I used this - http://www.floorpaintexpress.co.uk/garacoat-garage-floor-kit.html

Ash grey. Great kit TBF, had very thing I needed.

Cleaned, add etch, scrub, wash, dry, coat 1, coat 2 after how ever many hours, leave to harden, job done.

Was so straight forwards to follow. Really pleased with the results.

You need to do your walls white.

Only pic I can find of my garage but it's empty now with shelves on the walls. Think that took 10 litres to do the floor.

Z4 Fits in so it's a standard sized garage.

I've got 20 litres because it was under 30 quid. Giving it 3 coats. Didn't do anything other than sweep.

I thought about the walls but decided against it.

It's bright enough for now.
Got three led tubes in some light fittings from an nhs building.

Floor took every drop of 2.5litres on the first coat (but I painted the walls too) and had a little bit left on the second 2.5l tin but I didn't redo the wall.

Oh by the way, no need to do any prep other than a sweep and wash down. I just used a mop and some car shampoo. As it was summer, it dried pretty quick.

Got an old carpet on the floor in my garage, just screw and rawl plug it down at various places. Makes it nicer sitting down when im working on the scooter and i can place the side panels on the floor without the fear of scratching them. Not bothered if a bit of oil goes on it aswell tbh.

If I owned this place I'd really need to get mine sorted, potentially might talk with the l'lord about going halves on it anyway.

It's not just paint though, the concrete has been patched so many times it's just a mess - and my jack will occasionally sink as the concrete beneath it turns to dust

Looks like a big job though, not sure I'd take it on myself.

I did mine a while back and a few patches have started flaking.

didnt treat the floor to begin with, but did clear up and dust etc. Should the floor have been treated first?
