As much as I don't agree with suicide he'll go down as a legend.

You also don't understand depression.

Facebook is almost completely unusable at the moment

People posting photos of him purely for the likes I doubt half of them even care he died, I certainly don't.

Shame. He made some brilliant films over the years. One Hour Photo and Insomnia showed that he wasn't just all about the comedy.

Must be hard to have this public front of being a happy person when inside you are feeling like he did.

Ha ha ha. Yes. That well known scientific fact that when your bank balance reaches a certain amount you instantly become immune to mental illness.

Not having any privacy, not being able to walk down the street and pop into the shop, not being able to get drunk and make a tit of yourself, not being able to take your kids to the park, swimming or on holiday like many other normal families would be enough to give anyone issues.

Add on top the drink and drugs into that mix and its a very sad and clearly very lonely life.
Perhaps money didn't buy him happiness..

Being expected to put on a front in public when you are maybe having a bad day yet your persona is to always be happy. That would make you feel worse imo.

It's a strange coincidence that the Robin Williams episode of Family Guy was on last night.

You might want to stop posting mate. You're making yourself look like more and more of an ignorant fool with every post.

Complete opposite for me. One of the most recent celebrity deaths that have made me feel a bit

Some many film memories, particularly Mrs Doubtfire and Hook.

Completely forget about Alladin, Blubber etc. Haven't seen some of his more serious stuff like Good Morning Vietnam or Good Will Hunting.

I was genuinely a little bit gutted when I first heard about this, I've enjoyed pretty much everything I have ever seen him in, with the exception of The Crazy Ones, but even then it wasn't really his fault given the cast he had to work with. A brilliant entertainer, just a real shame that his happy persona didn't represent the real man.

That's such a good film - forgot about that one.
